PROGRAMMING SCHEDULE RELEASED!!!
It’s a veritable cornucopia of otaku madness, creative expression, epic music, hilarious panels, mind-blowing performances and more! We’re proud to announce that Atomic Lollipop 2012 has over 120 unique events happening during what will surely be the most epic weekend ever! Only a fraction of all the events have had their own announcements so make sure to read through the list and discover some of the amazing and bizarre experiences we have lined up for you! It’s going to be a non-stop, no-sleep, action-packed hurricane of a weekend so get ready for adventure and we’ll see you at Atomic Lollipop!!!
SATURDAY (JULY 14)
10:00am The Great Dragonball Hunt (Everywhere, ongoing)
When doors open, the hunt begins! 400 ghetto-fabulous dragon balls have been planted in the Sheraton hallways, bathrooms, and picnic grounds. Collect all seven marble-sized wonders and hustle back to the info booth to summon the Great Eternal Dragon, Shenron! The first APOPpers to present the Great Dragon with the full set of seven, will win riches beyond their wildest dreams. Can you find them all?
10:00am The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Pop BEGINS (Everywhere, ongoing) Grab a character card from the info desk and play this live action RPG all weekend long as you track down challenges and beat bosses scattered throughout the event!
10:00am Pokemon Snap! BEGINS (Everywhere, ongoing)
Snap photos of Pokemon cosplayers anytime you see them and return to the info desk on Sunday afternoon for Professor Oak to judge based on quality and quantity. The best photographer wins a Pokemon Kigurumi!
10:00am Choose Your Own Adventure Time BEGINS (Everywhere, ongoing)
Assume the role of Finn and venture forth into the Land of Ooo in a second-person, interactive short story posted on the walls of the Sheraton. Your choices will determine who you meet and who you fight. Brave the bonus side-quest scavenger hunt for a chance at ultra bo$$ prizes!
